I love mine! It has helped me out with my acne a lot. It has also made my skin smooth, and have a natural glow to it. I am able to use it twice a day as well, even though my skin is sensitive. One thing though, if you get breakouts of acne, make sure you disinfect your brush head at least once a week I do it twice. That is what I do and it is gentle enough for it not to react to your skin. Also, I do not use the cleanser that comes with it.
I started to use the Vitamin Cleanser from the Body Shop. I have a Mia, and YES, if you can, you should absolutely buy one. The worst that could happen is that you're not crazy about it, but I think it's more likely that you will be. I do suggest giving it time, though -- your skin may break out initially or it may not , and then it will calm down.
I think if the "purging" period does occur in certain cases, people assume it isn't working and give up on it. However, this purging does happen -- the same reaction can occur when you start to use a prescription retinoid for the first time.
I never had skin issues at all until I was hovering around 29 -- then I started breaking out in my chin area, sometimes with deep, painful cysts that never surfaced. I'm assuming this was hormonal -- or it was something I was using. I also noticed an increase in clogged pores and general bumpiness on the surface of my chin -- and no matter what I used, it wouldn't go away. I didn't break out badly, but it seemed awful because I was used to not having to worry about it. I tried changing cleansers, a stronger dose of Retin-A , purifying clay masks -- nothing really worked.
Within a week, my skin looked better than it had in years -- the bumpiness was gone, I had no breakouts I still have no real breakouts, excepting the occasional monthly pimple in the exact same spot , and the texture of my skin was so much smoother -- even my makeup looks different. I only wish I had caved and bought it sooner! I use the Sensitive brush which came with the Mia -- so that would probably be a good one for you.
If your skin is more sensitive, you can try the Delicate brush head, or the Normal if it needs deeper cleaning. I want to try the Deep Pore version but have yet to buy it. I haven't changed my brush head yet, but I need to do it soon -- I've had it for more than two months, but not quite three. In the interest of full disclosure -- while I have seen a huge reduction of blackheads overall, the ones that took up residence on my nose around age 12 have not gone away -- but I'm not sure that they ever would without some sort of professional procedure.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Clarisonic, either the Mia or the Plus. With the Plus, you get a body brush that is nice for exfoliating skin flakiness on the body. If you only use it on the face, the Mia works great and is less expensive. The recommended time interval for changing the brush head is every months, I think it depends on if you use it 2X, 1X or every other day. I started with the sensitive brush that came with the unit, but after using it awhile, felt that the normal would be better for my oily skin, so when it came time to change brushes, I got the regular.
There is a new deep cleaning face brush that I might try next time, I have pretty tough skin, so I don't think it would cause a problem, but you just have to kind of feel this out with your own skin. Your makeup will be completely removed and your pores deeply cleansed. The result is a healthier-looking skin with fewer breakouts.
Who is the Mia 2 best for? It works with every skin types really, so the Mia 2 is for everyone. You just need to find the right brush and learn how to use it properly. Clarisonic is an American brand from Washington. You can get the Mia 2 for. The Olay ProX. At first glance, the two beauty devices seem to help with the same goal: deep cleansing. So what can possibly justify such a big price difference?
The Olay ProX also has two different levels of speed. It will leave you refreshed. The Clarisonic, on the other hand, uses sonic vibrations that penetrate much deeper under the skin. Our rating: 9.
Summary: The Clarisonic Mia 2 is one of the best cleanser devices of Reviewed by: Samantha Woodworth. Clarisonic Mia 2. Just 60 seconds to deeply cleanse your face. Plenty of different brushes to choose from for different skin types and purposes.

It's different than other Clarisonic brush heads because it's softer and gentler, and it's got an indicator that turns red when it's time for a fresh one a nice feature for anyone who'd rather not guess whether or not they've been using their brush head for too long. I honestly wasn't expected to see a difference quickly, but after the first time I used it with a basic foaming cleanser, my skin — which had been looking dry — was noticeably more radiant, especially along my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose.
The glow lasted for two days, so I just did a quick soap-and-water cleanse the following morning. After about a week and a half, the redness I'd be getting on my forehead and cheeks looked better, and my skin felt softer than it has in ages.
Some of the softness goes away on days when I don't use the Clarisonic, but my skin still looks clearer. The other attachments you buy separately not surprisingly, you can order them through the app. The Sonic Foundation Brush is a whirling foundation brush for buffing on base.
When I first got one it launched about two years ago, and is compatible with other Clarisonics , I played with it with Nicole Jacobs, a makeup artist in Chicago, who likes it best for buffing on powders.
For sure my favorite attachment is the new Sonic Awakening Eye Massager, which has two metal balls that you run across your under-eyes, above your brows, and over your temples.
