There are all within a minute drive from SZR. Here you will find many fitness amenities, shaded walkways and waterfront restaurants. Due to its location, Sheikh Zayed Road can fulfil all the leisure needs of its residents. Everything is either right there or very close to it. The properties on Sheikh Zayed Road are near five-star lodgings, recreational offices and amusement centres.

The Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa are famous places that lie across this area. A stunning tourist attraction, The Dubai Fountain is also close to Sheikh Zayed Road which gives the spectators a breathtaking experience one can never forget.

As the Dubai Metro runs adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road, people can get easy access to all the above landmarks and tourist attractions. There is also the Dubai World Trade Centre which used to be the tallest building in Dubai at one point. Now it hosts thousands of people every year for gigantic events, exhibitions and conferences, such as Comic-Con Dubai, World Art Dubai, Gulfood, Gitex and more.

One tower is commercial while the other houses the Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel. There is also the funky Youth Hub which is one of the best co-working spaces in Dubai. It features many amenities for children and adults alike. There are areas to barbecue, picnic or just walk around. Go-karts can also be rented at Zabeel Park. A new installation is the Dubai Garden Glow which features many art installations and other attractions. Al Satwa Park is also located just behind the Towers Rotana Hotel, it is a small well-maintained community park.

These are all well-equipped and well-known gyms that lie close to Sheikh Zayed Road. The hotel rooms and suites in Paramount Tower Hotel are inspired by the Hollywood studio. The floor tower will feature a rooftop infinity pool, retail outlets and dining options.

The expected completion date of the project is Q1 Sheikh Zayed Road is perfect for those who want to live in a bustling area. It is well-connected by public transport and offers luxurious properties. One thing to consider is that the rent for these properties tends to be on the higher side and traffic will be an issue in the peak rush hour times. It is Sheikh Zayed Road. AED 99, Yearly. Perhaps the most frustrating part about SZR was that the exits and entrances have been laid out in a most confusing fashion. There are often places to exit the road that lead to curvy ramps that will soon send you in an opposite direction from what you expected. There is then no way to get back on the highway except to drive for several kilometers out of your way and find a different street.

It boggles my mind how a road this vital to Dubai could be laid out so poorly. This was not a problem unique to SZR, and all of the roads we encountered in Dubai suffered from a similar fate. Needless to say, if you intend to drive yourself in Dubai, you should invest in a GPS or extremely good maps. Otherwise, you will waste a lot of time trying to find an appropriate entrance or exit. Gas was not easy to find along this road. We would sometimes see gas stations from the road, but there was no way to reach them.

As mentioned above, any attempts to exit the highway did not end well, so we had to buy an Explorer map that included gas stations just so that we wouldn't end up stranded in traffic. When we did succeed in finding a station, it was so crowded that we had to wait in line for 15 minutes just to get to a pump, and during this time we were cut off by other aggressive drivers trying to sneak in front of us.

Lastly, there are a few toll gates that you have to pass through while driving. Because of the ridiculous layout of the roads, we sometimes ended up passing through the same booth multiple times while trying to get to a given location. This was the icing on the rotten cake that is SZR. For all of the reasons listed above, I would advise that you not drive yourself in Dubai unless you absolutely have to do so.

Use the train system or take a taxi and you will save yourself a lot of stress. In a taxi, at least you can take some time to stop and look around so you don't miss it. Buzzy1 Boulder, Colorado contributions.

The question is how can a road be an attraction, or deserving of a TA review? It is the main artery in Dubai and has constant traffic. The Metro runs alongside it and is a better option than driving or taxis. This road or the Metro will take you to all the important places on the West side of the creek. There are lots of big buildings on either side of the road.

Reviewing this road is reminiscent of writing a school outing report in the fourth grade. During happy hour in the evenings we'd watch the ebb and flow of traffic up and down Sheikh Zayed Road with the traffic jams sometimes stretching out of sight and at night looking like strings of diamonds and rubies.

The number of breakdowns, sirens and loud Ferrari and Lamborghini exhausts is enough to turn any petrol head as are the rows of Bentleys, rollers and other supercars just parked on the roadside as if they were little city runarounds! It was fun to watch the way the traffic jockeyed for position.

Running parallel with the metro line and lined with many prestigious hotels, I'd say that along this road is where I'd choose to stay again as it's so convenient whichever direction you want to go Ghanim A Kuwait City, Kuwait , contributions. It's a very large road riding from one side of the city to the other, very impressive if you're European or not used to such massive streets.

I've seen similar ones in China but what I found interesting in Dubai is that a lot of malls, attractions and business activities gravitate around it, as well as the tallest skyscrapers in the city.

Interesting to see at least once, but still just a road. This is the most vivid central road of Dubai. It stretches for many kilometers along a wonderful area of Hotels, restaurants and malls. Burj Khalifa salutes you wherever you head. A variety of steak houses can be found along the road of which I highly recommend Tony Roma's.

One place to avoid to stay in if you are a business traveller ,is the Number One Tower Suits ,as the Internet is not accessible. Believe it or not amidst such busy and modern Road, you will be isolated. Dubai Mall is a nearby place that contains all the pleasures of life. Don't miss it. NIR Mumbai, India contributions.
